Like all great Kiwi ventures, EverVerse began with a favour for a mate.

One of our founder’s close family friends was struggling to find the right gift for their partner β€” β€œHe’s got everything already, what do I even get him?” she said. After a few laughs and half-joking suggestions, she added, β€œI wish I could just write him a song or something…”

So that’s exactly what we did.

With a guitar, some scribbled lyrics, and a bit of creative magic, we put together a custom song based on their love story. It was raw, funny, and incredibly personal. She played it for him on his birthday. He cried. Then she cried. Then everyone cried. (And yes, she got all the credit.)
